The inevitable has eventually happened….the scorned woman has struck back. Cheating actor Eddie Cibrian’s model wife Brandi Glanville has in fact chosen to go for destination ‘Splitsville’. The 36 year-old suffering wife who had steadfastly refused to abandon her husband in spite of his obvious infidelity and much publicized affair with Leann Rimes, has finally announced her decision to leave him.

While the 35 year-old actor’s link-up with married country singer and ‘Northern Lights’ co-star Rimes four months back had made tabloid headlines, Glanville had been unwavering in her support for her husband who she believed was being ’stalked’ by Rimes. However, in an all too literary demonstration of “Once a cheater, always a cheater”, Cibrian was caught (again) last Thursday, in a secret rendezvous with Rimes, outside the Malibu beach-home of Jeff Bergen, a long-time friend of Rimes and her husband Dean Shereret. Reportedly, Bergen was letting them use his place for a month.

Close on the heels of this episode came the rumors of Eddie’s alleged link-up with 24 year-old model Scheana Marie Jancan. The dumping followed almost inevitably after. In a statement made to the Us Weekly, the obviously emotional mother-of- two announced that Eddie and she had decided to spend some time apart, implying that the decision was in the best interest of the children, and added on a rather ironic note that “Eddie and Leann deserve each other”.

Meanwhile, the official representative for Cibrian chose to underplay the entire turn of events, referring to it merely as a “speedy bump” that needed to be “worked out privately” by the actor.
