Brand-Ross prank call marred relationship with granddaughter, says Sachs
January 24th, 2009 - 5:04 pm ICT by ANILondon, January 24 (ANI): Andrew Sachs and his wife Melody have revealed how the radio-prank sex call by RJ Russell Brand and DJ Jonathan Ross has affected their relationship with their granddaughter.
The Fawlty Towers actor had received four messages on his home phone from the duo claiming the former had slept with his granddaughter Georgina Baillie.
The infamous October incident, in which Brand spoke of his prior sexual relationship with the goth-styled model while Ross passed lewd comments, had led to a record number of complaints and criticism resulting in the suspension of both presenters from their positions at the BBC Radio 2.
And now, the couple confessed that they had not spoken to Georgina since the scandal, which has marred their previously healthy relationship.
We havent spoken since and I have no wish to speak to her, the Daily Express quoted Melody as saying.
We didnt know any of this about the drugs, sex with Russell Brand and we had never heard the name Satanic Sluts before.
She used to be a lovely girl and we spent a lot of money on her, educating her, she added.
78-year-old Andrew further said: To make fun of all of this, he seems to be unwell. If people want to pay to see this, it is weird. (ANI)
