New Delhi, Jun 13 (ANI): Cardboard cut-outs of Hollywood actor Brad Pitt are helping police in Omsk, South Russia, to prevent reckless speeding.
The Russian police placed the life-size cardboard replicas of the ‘Inglorious Basterds’ actor dressed as a traffic policeman on most of the dangerous intersections of the city, reports the China Daily.
The idea to use the cut-outs is reported to have been put forward by Dmitry Ziryanov, a local official, in a bid to try and deter motorists from speeding.
“Brad is kind of like a colleague for us,” he added. (ANI)
