July 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought another home for their growing family and this time it is worth an eye-popping $40 million. The property is located near the Italian city of Verona and the couple chose the villa after looking at two other properties in the area. The area is famous for the red marble and Amarone red wine.

The city of Verona where the Hollywood power couple have bought the villa is famous for hosting the romance of Romeo and Juliet. The two Shakespearean characters had to sacrifice themselves for their love which was prohibited by their feuding families. The villa contains 16 rooms and was built in the 16th century by Venetian architect Andrea Palladian. It is located in the Valpolicella Hills which is northwest of Verona. George Clooney, who is a friend of the couple, also has a property in Italy near Milan. The couple have a total of six children that include 2 year old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The star couple was also in the news recently after they accepted the damages from the UK tabloid that claimed that the couple are splitting. They had sued the tabloid after it failed to rectify the false rumors and did not apologize for misleading the public about the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ pair. Angelina Jolie was recently seen promoting her few flick ‘Salt’, at the Comic Con in San Diego. The film received immense hype after it was revealed that the sexy actress did not use a body double for the role of the Russian spy named Salt and even got herself injured while doing the stunts.
