- London/Dublin, Nov 1 (DPA) Irish pop band Boyzone wants to release a new album with vocals recorded by former member Stephen Gately before his recent death, lead singer Ronan Keating said Sunday.
Gately was found dead last month after a night out in Mallorca, aged 33.
According to Keating, interviewed on Sky News in Britain, Gately had already recorded vocal parts for several songs, which will now be included in the next Boyzone album.
“We’ve already decided that the next album will feature Stephen,” he said. “We want to stick together because us being together consoles us at the moment.”
“We have a few songs with Stephen’s voice on it - what a rescue. Thank God we have that,” Keating said. “The fans will really appreciate it.”
