Oct. 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) First there was just a ripple and then finally the theatrical promos for the unusually long awaited movie made its way in to the theaters. Almost 10 years since the first installment of the movie had made its appearance in the scene, the fans of “Boondock Saints” will be able to get a taste of the Saint’s lives once again in “Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day”.

The long duration of time between the original and the sequel has however not been able to rob the movie of the fan hysteria that had surrounded it. It seems to have multiplied three fold with the passage of time. So, the movie is all set to hit the theaters on the November 1, Friday and die-hard fans of the movie [that has managed to gain a cult status over the years] will once again get to delve in to the lives of the MacManus brothers, who are fraternal twins.

Though most of the original cast has been retained, fans will surely miss the presence of Willem Dafoe and his screen alias of the gay police officer. As the lead pair of Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus resumes their roles of the MacManus brothers in the sequel to the original, the organized underworld scene in the underbelly of Boston erupts in silent violence once again. The Saints are back and this time they seek vengeance for the ruthless killing of a local priest.

Fans will feverishly hope that with this comeback venture, writer/ director of the movie, Troy Duffy sets his mind on making many more sequels to the gory saga.
