London, Apr 20 (ANI): A secret Beatles cartoon was has come to light - more than 40 years after a wild Swinging Sixties party in a country house.

The Fab Four were chalked on the back of an antique bookcase when gatecrashers invaded a stately home in the Swinging Sixties.

From the site of the drawing, it looked life as if the artist put in a hard days night of work, according to reports.

However, the work ended abruptly when police arrived to clear the uninvited guests from Highfield Hall in Northop, North Wales, and the bookcase was pushed back against the wall.

The drawings stayed a secret until it was pulled out to be sold at auction.

It was a surprise to discover them all these years later. They really are quite good the four Beatles are instantly recognisable. Sadly, well never know who drew them, but he or she was talented, The Daily Express quoted hall owner Jim Hunter, as saying.

Recalling the party that ended in uproar, Hunter said: I dont know how many guests there were, but things got a bit out of hand and I ended up calling the police.

We can only assume someone dragged the bookcase away from the wall and set to work.

A spokesman for Cheshire fine art auctioneers Peter Wilson, who estimate the bookcase to be worth between 700 pounds and 800 pounds, said: It may attract a Beatles fan who cant resist it. (ANI)
