Book alleges that Marilyn Monroe had a lesbian affair

A lot of biographies that were written in the past have speculations that Monroe could have had a romantic relationship with actress Natasha Lytess.
Louis W. Banner, the writer of the new book ‘Marilyn: The Passion and the Paradox’ wrote an essay for ‘The Guardian’. This essay was supposed to help her promote her new book. In the essay Banner mentioned that Monroe desired women, had affairs with them and also that she was worried that she might be a lesbian by nature.
Monroe was seen as one of the world’s top most sex symbols. During her time Marilyn had affairs with a good number of men but it is said that she also had affairs with women.
Banner wonders how Monroe could have been seen as the goddess of sex and as a heterosexual and yet she loved women. Banner also wonders how the world could see her as being perfect and yet she had all those internal imperfections.
The fact that she could not bear a child is also something to worry about. Marilyn Monroe died in the year 1962 at the age of 36 but she still remains popular.
