- First look of ‘Guzaarish’ has been released and it has experienced mixed reactions coming its way. While this Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer definitely looks classy and opulent, many have complained that it had come with a huge hangover of Bhansali’s ‘Black’.
- Yash Raj Films have surprised the industry by announcing the release of their ‘B3 - Band Baaja Baraat’ on 10th December. In an already cluttered season with at least one big film every week, it is strange that the makers have decided to bring their Anushka Sharma starrer amidst mutliple films.
- Announcement of Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Power’ has led to massive reactions. Being touted as a huge multi crore extravaganza with a powerful star-cast comprising of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor along with Kangna Ranaut and Amisha Patel, Firoz Nadiadwala’s ‘Power’ should be one film to watch out for in 2011.
- There are two mythological animation films related to Lord Rama that are releasing in theaters in October. While ‘Lava Kusa’ is expected to arrive on 8th October, the immediate week will see the release of ‘Ramayana - The Epic’.
- Clash of Deols’ ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ has been avoided with the former moving to 2011. The film will gain from the shift as it will now be arriving solo on 14th January.
