Mumbai, Oct 2 (ANI): With a title that is too long, and quite unlike a typical Bollywood name, the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’ has already made its presence felt.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, who has delivered some great serious cinema to his credit, the film promises to be a rocker, regaling the audience with its romantic storyline interspersed with comedy.

The title of the film has already generated quite an interest amongst the public.Named after the film’s central character, Prem, the title brings out the essence of the character, who according to Santoshi, is a strange fellow.

“We kept the title according to the story. While working on the story, we realised that the character of Prem is a bit strange, the way he behaves, and he acts differently from a normal person. So, we decided to keep the title as ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’.,” said Santoshi.

The film is a romantic tale of two youngsters, Prem and Jennifer, played by Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

The cast and crew have high hopes from the film.

“It’s been fantastic so far. I hope that the audience will accept it. We worked really hard on this. In this film, good positive energy is flowing,” said Ranbir Kapoor.

Shot in Ooty, Goa, Mumbai and Turkey, the film is slated to release on November 6. (ANI)
