- Akshay Kumar is back in India after a month long holiday with family. Currently, he is involved 24X7 in spearheading promotional activities hence heating up for his home production ‘Khatta Meetha’.

- Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor have silently begun work on ‘Rockstar’. Shooting of this much awaited film is currently on in Delhi.

- Aamir Khan has done it again. For his small unassuming production like ‘Peepli Live’, he has come forward to pitch it in a way that would be flattering for any conventional Bollywood flick.

- Speculations around the director for ‘Race’ sequel can be laid to rest. Ramesh Taurani of TIPS has confirmed that the men in white - Abbas Mustan - would indeed be directing this much awaited action thriller.

- First look of ‘Lafangey Parindey’ has seen a good response. It may not be swashbuckling but has still given out positive vibes, something that would make Neil Nitin Mukesh and director Pradeep Sarkar happy, especially after ‘Jail’ and ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’ respectively.

- Actors Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse would take on producer Aamir Khan heads on as their respective films ‘Help’, a supernatural drama, clashes with ‘Peepli Live’, a rural satire. An interesting battle indeed as the films fight it out on 13th August, Independence Day weekend.
