Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi Weds Priyanka Alva In Grand Wedding

Bangalore, Oct 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that Vivek Oberoi is indeed a happy man lately with both his personal as well as professional life on a high. After the stupendous success that his latest release ‘Rakta Charitra” has achieved, the Bollywood star broke hearts of his large number of female fans on Friday when he tied the knot with Bangalore girl Priyanka Alva in a grand wedding ceremony. Ending months of speculation, the 34-year-old actor and Priyanka Alva pledged love for each other in a gala wedding ceremony which was graced by the family members and close friends of the newly-weds.
The wedding ceremony took place at the posh Alva residence in Bangalore amid tight security. Although many Bollywood celebrities were conspicuous by their absence, some of the celebs who graced the wedding were actresses Sushmita Sen, Dia Mirza as well as director Mani Ratnam, to name a few. However, given the fact that Priyanka Alva hails from a political family in Karnataka and is the daughter of late Janata Dal (United) leader Jeevraj Alva, some of the biggest names in the political circle of the state attended the wedding to offer their best wishes on this auspicious occasion.
Following the wedding, Vivek Oberoi and his new bride seemed the perfect couple when they stepped out of the wedding venue to pose for the shutterbugs to the utter delight of the large number of mediapersons who has gathered outside the Alva residence to catch a glimpse of the high-profile wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, a gala reception is scheduled to take place on Saturday at ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai.
