Bodycare Lingerie Announces Mandira Bedi As The New Face

August 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress and television presenter Mandira Bedi has been signed as the new face of Bodycare lingerie, one of the leading makers of intimate apparels and undergarments in India.
The iconic brand in the lingerie industry has introduced many innovations for the first time in India. The Procian printed panties were introduced in India by this company for the first time. The latest international technology of seamless lingerie has also been introduced by Bodycare.
On this occasion Mandira Bedi was quoted to have said that the woman consumers in India have become very conscious while choosing lingerie, which has paved the way for growth of the branded lingerie in India. She found Bodycare to be a cute, girly, and fun brand. Bedi agreed to take it up mainly because she was given the opportunity to give her own input into the brand. She said that the brand has a wide range of collection including easy, comfortable, and stylish inner wear to sensuous lingerie.
Sanjay Dawar, MD of Bodycare Creations is very excited about this association. He said that the number of working women is increasing hugely and due to media exposure they are aware about the changing fashion trends. These women are very conscious about brands now as many international brands have entered the Indian market.
Dawar added that the men’s inner wear industry has recently signed many Bollywood celebrities to endorse the brands. It has rather become a fashion statement for the youths of this time, he said.
