Bob Saget to return to ABCFebruary 5th, 2009 - 9:02 pm ICT by David M N James
ABC could have opened doors to iconic Bob Saget after a stint elsewhere. This comes after ABC picked a new soap opera to run in its schedules. The soap is associated with Bob Saget. This signals Sagets comeback to ABC timelines. It is official that ABC picked up the Bob Saget-starring comedy “Surviving Suburbia.” The company has scheduled the series to run after “Dancing with the Stars” in April.
Bob Saget was in ABC last year but made a dramatic exit. His return to ABC timelines is a boon to ABC, which was well hyped during his tenure as a staff. Media had exclusively covered Bob Sagets exit from ABC, which was dogged by controversy. The hype has now swapped places with the debut of the production, which predominantly covers Bob’s abilities. ‘Surviving Suburbia’ is actually a sensational production.
Once the production goes on, Bob will be getting a second chance. His exit was eerie and coming back to the network provides him with a lifeline to prove himself worth the efforts. He was Danny Tanner on Full House, which is credited for its successful stint. ‘Surviving Suburbia’ is a sitcom, which has also seen the efforts of Toby Maguire’s Maguire Entertainment. The company will co-produce the siticom with ABC.
