October 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Thursday episode of Project Runway was graced by the presence of Christina Aguilera, the pop sensation and costume designer, Bob Mackey. The contestants of the show had to design clothes for these two personalities. It was quite a challenging task for them to impress them with their work. The contestants were given only a couple of days for designing clothes to impress these personalities. Their difficulties increased as they had been given a budget of three hundred dollars.

All the contestants had put in their best efforts to impress Christina Aguilera and Bob Mackey on the show. Carol Hannah Whitfield’s garments was most impressive and she was declared the winner of the day. Ms. Whitfield had designed strapless gown for the show. It had glitter, feather and sheen which made it look even more gorgeous and impressive. Shirin could not impress the judges with his dresses and as their was no immunity in this episode he was eliminated from the show.

The reality show, Project Runway has been airing their seventh season this year. The main highlight of the show is to get new designer wears from upcoming fashion designers. This show has received huge popularity from people. The show now airs on Lifetime Television and is hosted by Heidi Klum. Fashion designers who participate in the show need to make clothes based on a particular theme. They are given limited material and time for the work. The theme for this Thursday was a bit tricky for them as they had to impress Christina Aguilera and Bob Mackey.
