Mar 12 (Pen Men at Work): Bob Barker has made a humongous contribution of $2.5 million in order to lend a hand to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals so that it is possible for them to launch a new site in Los Angeles in the Californian province.
The game show presenter and spay and neuter title holder will slash the ribbon on Wednesday at the Bob Barker Building on Sunset Boulevard and Alvarado Street.
PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk has voiced that Barker could have merely supplied the outfit a fridge. However, he donated in order to ensure that a full building is rejuvenated and modernized. The edifice will be the quarters to the group’s media, advertising, youth outreach and promotion sections.
The octogenarian 86-year-old Barker conveyed his spay and neuter communication on “The Price Is Right” for a quarter century. Since he retired in the month of June of 2008, he has transported his activism to the streets and lanes. He has enthusiastically promoted sovereignty for the whales, encouraged the debarment of the fur trade and other causes.
He, for a gigantic amount of time, has passionately endorsed the notion of the protection of animals and of the rights of flora and fauna. Bob Barker extolled Ingrid E. Newirk, President of PETA, for her exceptional work in serving the natural world. Mr. Barker vocalized his high regard and esteem for the organization of PETA and their employees. He has stated that they are the most effectual and the most fruitful of all the animal wellbeing outfits in the universe. PETA’s newest office in the building will send more than 100 jobs to LA city center.

Someone asked if it is true that PETA spiked water buckets at the
Belleville, IL show. Our local all-breed club president just shared this.
The Greater Milwaukee Poodle Club has verified that PETA did, indeed, spike
water buckets with antifreeze. As you can see, permission is given to
cross-post. See below.

Fw PETA spiking Water At Shows
This is from one of my dog lists with permission to cross post:
At the shows in Belleville, Illinois, last weekend, PETA terrorists put
antifreeze in water dishes when dogs were out being shown. The handlers
noticed the pink color (they said it looked like Kool-Aid) and changed the
water, discovering by the odd smell what it was. It was announced over the
loudspeaker to not put your dogs into their crates without checking water
dishes first. Lots of people immediately took their dogs out and locked them
in motor homes.
In the future…do not leave your crates unguarded at shows…you ever know
when or where the PETA freaks will turn up.
This is what they consider Ethical Treatment of Animals–the sick freaks.
I first heard this from a friend who was there showing…now the news is
making the rounds. Please pass the word and make sure all your dog show
friends know about it.
