Sep 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The first episode of the cop/drama series “Blue Bloods” was premiered on CBS yesterday. The new series on the block directed by Michael Cuestaand garnered a fair amount of viewership last evening. “Blue Bloods” is a cop drama series about a family in New York which is proud of having multiple generations of cops. Frank Reagan played by Tom Selleck is the chief of the New York Police and the oldest member in the family. Danny is a cop who leaves no stone unturned in order to solve a crime even if it means breaking a few laws himself. His siblings are Jamie who is starting his days as a cop and then their is their sister Erin, an assistant district attorney.

The first episode shows Danny using his stature to nail a criminal who eventually goes on to admit his crime. The man had kidnapped a girl who is rescued by Danny within a days time.. This issue though finds it way to the family dinner table. The arguments over the dinner table between Erin and Danny was interesting and that happens to be the kind of drama that people love. The heated debate occurs over what is permissible by law and how should be the conduct of the person investigating the case be.

In another section of the episode we see Danny’s father telling him that just because someone does not have a criminal record does not mean that he has never committed any crime. Sure enough they discover evidence of the convicted man having murdered a girl in Florida. The show ends with Jammie being summoned for a case which is not what it seems to be. There happens to be enough drama in the series to keep the audience glued to its seat.
