Bloody Mary is a game in which a ghost of the same name is known to appear in a mirror when her name is stated three times, though there are many variations.
The variations could be that the querent must not look directly at her, but at her image in the mirror and she will then reveal the querent’s future, particularly concerning marriage and children. Overall, its said that Bloody Mary is a ghost/witch featured in Western folklore. A game at parties and having Bloody Mary given different names such as Mary Worth, Mary Worthington, and Hell Mary.
The legend of Bloody Mary is described as a child-murderer who lived in the local city and according to some other people’s belief is that taunting about Bloody Mary and her baby may relate her tenuously to folklore about Queen Mary I, known in history by the sobriquet “Bloody Mary.”
The legend of Bloody Mary has inspired movies like Urban Legend - which is known to be a horror film and television shows like Syzygy - the thirteenth episode of the third season of television series The X-Files. In 2008, for its annual “Halloween Horror Nights” events, Universal Studios Florida developed a new variation of the legend.
