Believing that this trend is not for the average person, Designer Gayatri Khanna observes “one needs to be in good shape; else it can make you look much bulkier”. She feels that either women with slimmer hips or leggy lasses can pull it off with aplomb like fashionista Kareena or Sonam. However, designer Kunal Rawal is a sucker for the embellished look on the blazers. He says women also look good with blazers with lapels, vents or even a jacket.
Stylist Rick Roy further adds that a lot, can be done with the blazer and it surely can make your day or mar it completely. You can also enhance your look by ornamenting with beads and chains or choose blazers in catchy colors. So the next time, you are out with the special someone or are attending a power meeting in your office, wear a blazer to set the mood and look in charge.
