Blake Shelton Wins CMA’s For Male Vocalist, Musical Event Of The Year

blakeNashville, Nov 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 44th Annual Country Music Awards was surely a big night for the country music power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. The couple turned out to be the big winners of the gala event that was held at Nashville on Wednesday night. The power couple took home five CMA awards last night, to the utter delight of their large number of fans.

While the “More Like Her” singer bagged the much-coveted awards which included the album of the year, female vocalist of the year as well as video of the year, her country music star beau was not far behind as he also shined at the CMA awards night by reserving victory in two categories. The 34-year-old much acclaimed country music singer was announced as the winner in the category of the male vocalist of the year in the star-studded award ceremony last night. The win must have been all the more special for Blake Shelton as he was able to break the winning streak of Brad Paisley who has been taking home the much-coveted honor for the past three years in a row. However, the male vocalist of the year was not the only honor that was bestowed on the “Nobody but Me” singer as he registered victory in the category of musical event of the year for “Hillbilly Bone” with Trace Adkins.

All the ardent followers of the country music power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were surely in for a treat at the 44th Annual CMA awards given the multiple honors that were conferred on the pair at the grand ceremony.
