Blake Lively gets her fashion sense from her mother
March 4th, 2011 - 3:04 pm ICT by ANISydney, March 4 (ANI): Blake Lively says it was her mother who helped to shape her own fashion sensibilities.
The actress, who is the new face of Chanel’s ad campaign for its “Mademoiselle” handbag, gave credit to her mom for educating her about fashion, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Lively said her fashion model mother gave her an appreciation of beautiful clothes.
Her mother is also an accomplished seamstress who used to make her own clothes, and would bring her daughters along on shopping expeditions to buy fabrics.
Lively said while having the right look is important, confidence is key in making an outfit work.
Despite the occasional criticism of her red-carpet style, Lively says as long as she’s “being herself” and feels comfortable in what she’s wearing, she loves it. (ANI)
