Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am lands ‘director of creativity’ role at
January 27th, 2011 - 6:18 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 27 (ANI): Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am has been named “director of creativity” at technology company Intel.
He will now make make music for the Californian-based company, who make processors.
Will.i.am’s role is to find “new ways to communicate, create and entertain,” reports the BBC.
Intel’s president said, “We’re thrilled to tap into the limitless creativity will.i.am brings to the table.”
“He’s a brilliant artist and an innovator pushing the bounds of technology,” she added.
The producer - who has already started work on music - hopes that this new role would amplify his own creativity.
“Nearly everything I do involves processors and computers,” he said.
“Teaming up with the scientists, researchers and computer programmers is going to be amazing,” he added. (ANI)
