London, December 31 (ANI): With a view to saving the ailing economy of her country, Icelandic singer Bjork has joined hands with finance chiefs.
She is helping Reykjavik-based Audur Capital encourage investors to inject capital into businesses in the country.
Her involvement in the drive is said to have shown some promising results, and it is expected to attract more than 11million pounds by the end of March.
“We believe there are some interesting investment opportunities related to our nature and green energy. We need to pursue these investments even in the current crisis
because that’’s really our future and we need to do things differently than how we have done in the past. We want economic return but in a sustainable matter,” the Daily
Express quoted Audur’’s Chief Executive Kristin Petursdottir as saying. (ANI)
