Bitto Lead Actor Breaks Down As Media Denies Footage
May 27th, 2010 - 7:29 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
May 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):The television actors also love to get media coverage whether they are renowned faces or a new actor. Such a case happened on the sets of Sahara One’s new show “Bitto’. Actress Pallavi Rao, who plays the role of Sugandha, faced a discrimination of a different kind when she didn’t get her desired media footage.
This new show of Sahara One deals with the sensitive issue of caste discrimination. The incident took place when the print and electronic media visited the sets of “Bitto’ recently to cover some glimpses of the show.
According to an eye witness, “As often, the TV journos chase the protagonists and don’t pay heed to the other artists. The print media spoke to the actress but Rao was disappointed at the electronic media, which didn’t take her byte. She was running temperature that day yet she came to the sets to oblige the media. Disappointed at being ignored, Rao started crying.”
Despite repeated attempts, Sugandha Rao remained unavailable for comment. Even the people closely associated with the show either claimed ignorance or simply refused to speak on this issue.
Sahara One is offering the viewers of “Bitto’ a chance to win a LCD TV or a microwave. All you have to do is participate in the “Bitto ek sawaal contest’. During each episode, a question will be posed to the viewers, the answer for which lies in that particular episode. Viewers just need to SMS your answer to 59090 before 8.00 pm next day. Two lucky winners will get a LCD TV or a Microwave.
So, keep watching “Bitto’ every Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm on Sahara One to grab the goodies.
