Bitto Gets Married; Palllavi Falls Ill!

June 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Sahara One’s show “Bitto’- is about the life of a lower caste girl and is expected to focus on the various ups and downs in the life of Bitto. The various twists and turns of the serial will make us aware of her predicaments.
A source says, “Soon Bitto (Pallavi Gupta) will get married to Tejsingh (Ajay Kumar Nain) and will enter a Thakur family. This will happen in spite of it being opposed tooth and nail by Tejsingh’s family. Finally, Bitto gets married to Tejsingh as Thakur supports her. He, however, wants Bitto to enter his family as he hopes to obtain a ticket for the election through her. But Bitto’s life takes a turn for the worse after her marriage. She faces problems with untouchability issues and even her husband does not hesitate to torture her.”
Except for her mother in law, all the other family members treat her badly. Pallavi was, apparently, getting weaker and weaker due to back to back shootings. Her health was affected ultimately and she collapsed on the sets.
“I can’t visit my doctor as I am totally engaged with the shootings.” Pallavi says. She adds, “My eyes get sore due to the constant application of glycerin as I am needed to cry for long hours. I’m also suffering from a cold, cough and throat infection.”
