Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr. Passes Away After Suffering Heart Attack

Sep 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Tuesday, Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr, a well known inductee of the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum, breathed his last. He reportedly passed away after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday. Kenneth Moales Sr. was aged 65. Although the family did not release a formal statement, the news of the death of Bishop Kenneth Moales was made public on Twitter by people like Tye Tribbett, James Fortune, Jim Nelson and Dr. Kevin Bond, all of whom had shared a close relationship with the bishop.
Bishop Kenneth Moales, who recently turned 65 celebrated his birthday last Saturday along with his family and close friends. A native of Bridgeport, the bishop was famously known for his contribution to gospel music. He dedicated his life to choirs and was the founding pastor of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bridgeport. He served as its pastor for 42 years. He was made the President Prelate of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in 1995. He has to his credit a book titled “Strategies for Spiritual Warfare: A collection of Sermons”. Before his death, Kenneth Moales was serving as the president of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, Inc.
Bishop Kenneth Moales is survived by his wife Peggy Ann, three children and twelve grandchildren. The bishop also had a great-grandchild. Till late Tuesday, the family did not disclose the funeral plans of Bishop Kenneth Moales to media sources, and reports claim that the funeral services have not been finalized as of yet. However, the Bridgeport church with which the bishop was associated is expected to organize an assembly in his memory.
