Binimay Coming Up

July 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In latest Tollywood (Calcutta) news, a movie entitled Binimay would soon be released.
This forthcoming Bengali movie is directed by the famous Prabhat Roy. The film also stars two of the topmost heroines of the industry. We are talking about Rituparna Sengupta and Debasree Roy. Both of them have firmly established their place in Tollywood as two of the most experienced actresses in the scene right now.
Binimoy might just be a re-make of Dilip Nag’s classic 1963 Bengali motion picture.
Incidentally, both movies have the same name. The 1963’s Binimay included a cast of Dilip Mukhopadhyay, Kajal Gupta, Tarun Kumar, Asitbaran, Gita dey, Rabi Ghosh amongst others.
It would be awesome to see both Rituparna Sengupta and Debasree Roy sharing the same celluloid space. The movie should evoke interest amongst the regular Bengali movie audience. Watch out!
