Billy Ray Cyrus To Host Surprise Military Homecoming Show On TLC

Nov 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dad of teenage pop sensation and TV star Billy Ray Cyrus is all set to host his own show on TLC. The show was ordered by the network after seeing the rage that the online videos and news of the surprise military homecomings created. Viewers will get to the seen the shock and celebration that follows the surprise return of those gone to war. Eileen O’Neill, the president and GM of TLC said that they were looking forward to honoring the men and women and celebrating the great moment of their reunion with their families and loved ones. He also said that the show will add to the network’s focus on providing authentic and relatable life experiences.
The online videos of the surprise military homecomings have been a great hit and it is expected that Billy Ray Cyrus’ show will garner good viewership for the highly emotionally charged content of the show. The reaction of the loved ones of the soldiers makes for great TV and therefore the show is quite anticipated by the fans. The network has reportedly ordered three hour long episodes of the show and it will be produced by authentic entertainment. A premiere date is yet to be announced.
The military homecoming show will be the second reality series that Billy Ray Cyrus has signed up for since wrapping up the hit series ‘Hannah Montana’. He is also working on a show with his 21 year old son on SyFy where the father-son duo would delve into the world of paranormal phenomena. Experts feel that he is the right choice for the show on TLC as viewers of all ages are quite familiar with him after his stint on Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana’.
