Billy Ray Cyrus Roped In To Host Military Homecoming Series
November 6th, 2010 - 6:59 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkNovember 6, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): TLC, the US cable network has hit upon a novel idea now. They have ordered a series to be done based on several home videos as well as the local news events which report the surprising home coming of military men, all across the USA.
The popular country singer and star of Hanna Montana, Billy Ray Cyrus is expected to host the show. Viewers are expected to watch in delight and rekindle their own sentiments as they watch the soldiers return home amidst the look of surprise and shock on the faces of their loved ones.
Eileen O’Neill, the president as well as the general manager of TLC stated that it was a way they thought out to honor the men and women who have given so much to the nation by their service. The look of joy and surprise on the faces of their family as they get re united will remain unsurpassed for sure, concluded O’Neill.
Three hour long episodes are expected to air the military homecoming. A date for the premiere of the show remains to be finalized as yet.
It will be the second reality show for Cyrus after Hanna Montana, the series on US cable, which had wrapped up. Cyrus will be teaming up with his 21 year old son Trace on ‘UFO’ as announced by SyFy, a US Cable Network.
