Washington, January 6 (ANI): Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has expressed his sorrow to heartbroken couple John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who lost their son on January 2.

The grieving parents 16-year-old Jett was found unconscious following a seizure in a bathroom in the familys holiday home in the Bahamas.

Jett, who began suffering from seizures at the age of two and was a toddler when he was diagnosed with rare Kawasaki disease, had later been taken to Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport, where he was pronounced dead.

Mike Ossi, the familys lawyer, had revealed that the couples celebrity friends, including Oprah, Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise, had sent messages to make it known that they were with the family during their hard times.

And now, Cyrus, the father of Hannah Montana actress Miley, too has extended his support.
