Billy Gardell announces his tour
May 13th, 2011 - 7:44 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Billy Gardell has announced that he will embark on a tour in June. The comedian is still awaiting the future of the show “Mike & Molly.”
The tour will be in the United States and Billy announced that the tour is meant to promote his DVD which is titled “Halftime.” Billy believes that the title of the DVD which will be the same for the stand-up tour is true reflection of the stage that he has reached in his life. He explained that at the age of 41 years, he is at the middle stage of his life. He joked that his life is much more serious now calling the “first half” of his life “sloppy.”
He admitted that, “When I was younger I was crazy. Then you go from, ‘Yeah, I’ll do another shot’ to ‘How much sodium is in that?”
Billy still has his eyes set on his CBS show “Mike & Molly.” He said he hopes that the network will renew the program for another year. The show also stars Melissa McCarthy who plays the love interest of Billy.
CBS is expected to announce its schedule for the fall next week.
