Billy Bob Thornton to star in ‘Eagle Eye’

Based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, the pic tells of a young slacker, to be played by LaBeouf and a single mother, to be played by Monaghan who get tangled up in a terrorist cell plotting a political assassination.
Thornton is reportedly set to star as one of the secret agents in the film, the other one being Dawson.
He was most recently seen on the big screen in the comedy ‘Mr. Woodcock’ in which he plays a sadistic gym teacher. (ANI)
