July 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The audience was waiting eagerly to watch this week’s elimination round of “So You Think You Can Dance” as last week there was no elimination owing to the injuries and accidents of the contestants. Last night Billy Bell and Jose Ruiz’s dream of winning the contest was shattered as they were eliminated from the show and the contestants bade farewell to season 7 of “So You Think You Can Dance”. The reputed and popular dance reality show airs on Fox channel on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Last night’s episode opened with a marvelous performance of Mia Michaels which was liked and appreciated by the audience. Champion ballroom dancer Toni Reopath appeared as a guest judge on the show. Lauren Froderman did not perform in the show owing to her ill health and dehydration problem which kept her away from the rehearsals. The host Cat Deeley announced the attractive amount $250,000 for the winner of the contest. The host also informed that the winner of the competition will be recognized by brand Gatorade as “dance athlete” and endorse their product.

The contestants were tensed but they were hoping that their journey in this season will not end and they would be crowned as the best dancers. However, the bottom three contestants were Billy Bell, Jose Ruiz and Lauren Froderman. The judges criticized Jose Ruiz by saying that his dance had no “swag whatsoever” and the dancer was shown door with the announcement that he is eliminated. Nigel Lythgoe while eliminating Billy Bell said that his “slightly androgynous style,” could not connect well with the American audience. Last night’s episode marked a recorded number of viewers who were glued to the screen to watch the performance and elimination.
