Bill Murray wins pebble beach golf tournament

New York, Feb 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American actor Bill Murray showed his other side when he won the Pebble Beach Golf Tournament.

This is the second time that Murray has won a golf tournament. He won his first championship with his partner Scott Simpson and with his second win he is fast establishing himself as a good golfer.

After emerging the winner, Murray told the crowd that had gathered there that, “I’m thinking of turning pro. I probably won’t. It’s really nice to play with a gentleman. He’s a good person. He’s from Illinois. He’s Lincoln-esque in stature and unfailingly polite.”

His reference was to his partner D.A Points. The win was the first for Points on the PGA. He was very happy of his win.

Back in 2010, Murray talked about playing on the Pebble Beach course. He said that he believes the course is the most iconic in the United States.

The “Caddyshack” star is currently said to be in negotiations to appear in a latest movie. The actor is negotiation to play Dr. Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters III movie which is set for release in December of 2012. The movie will be directed by Ivan Reitman.
