Mumbai, April 18 (IANS) The Anil Ambani-promoted BIG Music has announced a mega world tour for the finalists of the reality show ‘Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad’ contest. Entitled ‘Ticket to Stardom’, the tour will also include the production of a music album and music video under BIG Music’s label.
This will feature the winner of the show, Aishwarya Mazmudar, and other finalists Anvesha, Abhaas, Toshi, Harshit and Sumitra.
The music album will be composed by Dhoom’s music director Pritam.
The tour will kick start from May 2008 and the team would visit prominent cities in India, Europe, the US, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The debutant singers will get an ideal platform to get exposure and ultimately make an international debut with this coveted tour.
BIG Music and Home Entertainment CEO Kulmeet Makkar said: “This will pave the way for these upcoming stars to showcase their talent on a larger global platform. This is beyond a single album association and we at BIG Music hope to open avenues for talented Indian singers across the global music industry.”
He said the new breed of singers was very talented and they have the calibre to become the playback singers in the future.
