August 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The teenager from Michigan, Kevin Kristopik got paid back in his own coin after he tried to meddle in the life of the pop star Justin Bieber. He admitted that his phone number along with the area code had been given out on the Twitter page of the star who invited all his fans to contact him through the number.

The 15 year old Kevin was in for a shock! He received more than 26,000 messages as well as numerous calls on his phone from around the world. The number is entirely justified if you consider Bieber’s 4.5 million fans who follow his Tweets avidly.

Kevin Kristopik told the Free Press on Monday that he was going completely crazy receiving so many calls. He then decided to close his Twitter account and get himself a new number.

He admitted that he had managed to get hold of Bieber’s number through one of his friends and then started to pester the star with repeated calls and text messages.

Mike Kristopik, his father told the reporters that his son was a huge fan of Bieber and had hacked into the Twitter account of one of his friends in order to get Bieber’s phone number.

Bieber tried to stop Kevin texting him without any success. He then simply decided to take revenge by posting Kevin’s contact number on his Twitter page.

The senior Kristopik was most worried about the amount of the telephone bill that his son is likely to receive. Incoming International calls are not going to be gratis under the coverage scheme that Kevin has at present. He informed the press that no such call charges had shown up on the bill until Monday morning.

Justin Bieber performed at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Sunday. He did not return any of the messages sent to him asking for a comment on the incident.
