London, Dec 6 (IANS) Singer Justin Bieber reportedly scrapped his appearance on hit German variety show “Wetten Dass” after a stunt went wrong.
Stuntman Samuel Koch was attempting to jump over moving cars when he landed awkwardly and appeared motionless as TV cameras rolled. Doctors were rushed in to help, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“Just want to let my people in Germany know I won’t be on ‘Wetten Dass’ tonight (Saturday) as an accident has taken place and…. we all don’t think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch and his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety,” Bieber posted on his Twitter account.
The star-studded live show was subsequently cancelled even though host Thomas Gottschalk announced hospital-bound Koch was alive and could move his legs.
Cameron Diaz and Cher were also scheduled to appear on the show alongside Bieber.
