Bieber, Perry, Longoria help Tornado victims

London, May 25 (IANS) Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, singer Katy Perry and actress Eva Longoria are raising funds to help the victims of the devastating tornado in Missouri, US.
A powerful twister ripped through the city of Joplin Sunday ,May 22, claiming the lives of more than 110 people, reports contactmusic.com.
The news sent shockwaves through Hollywood and Bieber was among the first to send his sympathies to Joplin residents, writing in a post on micro-blogging site twitter: “Just heard about the devastation in Missouri… My heart goes out to everyone there and their families. My prayers are with you.”
Perry also wrote about the tragedy and urged fans to donate to the Red Cross relief efforts stating: “Please Text Redcross to 90999 to donate $10 to Joplin Relief, or directly call them at 314 969 8655. Pray for Joplin.”
“God bless everyone in Joplin… My prayers are with you,” Longoria posted.
