Bieber paternity lawsuit dropped
November 17th, 2011 - 10:22 am ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 17 (IANS) The woman who accused Singer Justin Bieber of fathering her four-month-old son has dropped her paternity lawsuit.
Californian Mariah Yeater, 20, has filed legal papers stating she had sex with the 17-year-old Oct 25 last year following the singer’s performance at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. On July 6, she gave birth to a baby boy and claims that Bieber is the father of the child.
Although Biber, who vehemently denied the claims, had agreed to go through a paternity test, the suit was quietly withdrawn late last week, reports TMZ.com.
Yeater’s lawyers Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have also stopped representing her after Bieber’s attorney Howard Weitzman warned Yeater that they were planning to sue her and her legal representatives for making false claims.
