The reality documentary series, aims to deviate from the typical entertainment and sensational programs dealing with dance, music and talent. Instead, it aims to focus on some self confessed juvenile delinquents, whose age ranges between 10 to 17.

The show involved subjecting these young female delinquents to frightening situations and exposing them to the bitter life of a jail. Although they are not put behind the bars, they are taken to a field trip to Valley State, where they have to lead a ’scary’ life. For example, they are not provided with proper bathroom facilities. If they are called by the nature, they have to move outdoor, where a pit, enclosed with low brick walls would await them, sans of any toilet amenities. However, the participants of these shows are not the feminine young girls, seeking comfort and luxury. They are self proclaimed criminals. 13 year-old Leanna, confessed thats she consumes drugs and indulges in shop-lifting. She also added that being bad is fun and since one day she is bound to die anyway, there is no point living like a good person. However, when similar other non-conformist girls like Leanna, would face the wrath of the show and meet some of the “heavily-tattooed inmates”, with loud, rude and angry disposition, they would perhaps have a different perspective towards life.

This show has been produced by Arnold Shapiro, the person who produced “Scared Straight” in 1978. Although the producer aims to show, how painful life in a jail is, sources say that the show may end up inspiring youths to stay away from bad means.
