Beyonce wins the Best Female Vocal Performance award at the Grammy Awards 2010

Grammy 2010 Los Angeles, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Beyonce has won the Best Female Vocal Performance award at the Grammy Awards 2010. She won it for ‘Halo’. Beyonce was delighted to receive the award, and thanked her fans for the support. She made a very brief acceptance speech, said that she loved her fans, and made a quick exit from the stage. She might be tired of the acceptance speeches as she was nominated in a record 10 categories, and prior to this win, she already won the Grammy award in the night too.

She also won a Grammy for ‘The Song of the Year’. It was won by “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” which featured Thaddis Harrell, Beyonce Knowles, Terius Nash & Christopher Stewart.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was born on September 4, 1981. However she is better known as Beyoncé. She is an American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and model as well. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, she enrolled in various performing arts schools. She celebrated her creative streak in the singing and dancing competitions as a child.
