London, Feb 5 (ANI): Jay-Z was shocked when his wife pop diva Beyonce Knowles proclaimed her love for him in her Grammy Awards acceptance speech.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have always been careful not to discuss their marriage in pubic but the R&B superstar was so blown away by her win that she couldn’t keep a tab on what she was saying.

Beyonce declared her love for him after she bagged the Grammy for the Best Female Vocal Performance, one of the six prizes she won in the gala.

She said: “I’d love to thank my family for all their love and support, including my husband - I love you.”

But she has now realised that she spoke a little too much.

“He was shocked. He was just like, ‘What did you say?’ I was just like, ‘What did I just do? No, I didn’t just say that.’ I was so happy, I could’ve said anything. That’s why I ran off the stage,” the Daily Star quoted Beyonce, as telling Access Hollywood.

But the Halo singer revealed that Jay-Z wasn’t angry with her for the slip.

She said: “He said you have six Grammys and you smell good.” (ANI)
