Dec. 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is being speculated that Beyonce Knowles might be seeking a divorce from her rapper husband Jay-Z, or he from her. That is not yet confirmed, and for all that is known, it might well be an unfounded rumor. Last time it was checked, the power couple of the musical scenario of Hollywood was happily married, but the ever after premise lies in the hand of time. It is not yet known exactly when and how the rumors started, but it is possible that they are grounded in the fact that Beyonce Knowles’ mother is, in all probability, seeking a divorce from her husband.

It has been confirmed that Beyonce Knowles’ mother, Tina Knowles, has filed a divorce case against Matthew Knowles, to whom she had been married for almost 29 years. The case had been filed with the Harris County Court Clerk. The legal proceedings of the divorce commenced from the Nov. 11. Tina Knowles commented to the press that the divorce did not issue from bitterness, and that the decision had been a mutual one. She confirmed that even after they go through with the divorce, she would remain friends with her former husband, who is also her business partner.

Matthew Knowles is the business manager of the pop diva. Her mother is her partner in the fashion line that had been launched by the mother and daughter, the “House Of Dereon.” The divorce case comes right after the filing of a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles by a woman named Alexandra Wright. Despite this fact, Tina Knowles asserted that there is no ugliness involved in the matter, and requested privacy.
