Beyonce L’Oreal ad raises brows after being altered for marketing

Cosmetics Company, L’Oreal has been accused of changing Beyonce Knowles looks to make inroads in its marketing campaigns. This comes in a period where consumers of beauty products have become tired and disinterested on beauty products lines and are in search for products with niches which conform to what they are made for. Cosmetics Company L’Oreal has vehemently denied that it altered Beyonce Knowles complexion and hair color in their new ad campaign. Controversy lies in Beyonece’s pic where she is pictured in the L’Oreal ad campaign and in her natural beauty. The difference in the photos is that, Beyonce’s looks are surely altered and anyone with good eyes can easily tell.
Telegraph COSMETICS giant L’Oreal has been accused of a malpractice in a marketing campaign. The advert which is controversial featured in last September.
The hype is that the Elle, Allure and Essence magazines ads for Feria hair color feature in September depict the pop star with a noticeably lighter skin tone. A comparison on the ad with another photo of Beyonce shows that her skin has more tone. In their denial through a spokesperson for the company on the Thursday, L’Oreal said that “We highly value our relationship with Beyoncé. It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered her features or skin tone in the campaign for Feria hair color,” The controversial advert featured predominantly in the September issues of Elle, Allure and Essence magazines. Advertising analysts and specialist in New York have claimed that Beyoncé’s lighter appearance in the L’Oréal ad is based on outcomes of creative touch-ups meant to balance her highlighted hair.
