beyonceAt the VMA night this Sunday, the R&B diva Beyonce revealed just how much of a big hearted person she really is, besides being a great entertainer. When the 28 year old diva came up to the stage to collect her award for the Video of the Year for her smash hit single “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, she displayed her large hearted side by inviting singing sensation Taylor Swift to complete her acceptance speech.

As is known by now, Swift had been very rudely interrupted by Kayne West when she had gone up on stage to collect her award in the category of Best Female Video for her song “You Belong With Me”. West, who strongly believed that Beyonce was the more deserving of the two in the category, was immensely distressed about the contrary result being reflected and made his displeasure vocal by stealing Swift’s moment of fame from her and highlighting his stand. For the same reason, Taylor’s acceptance speech was cut short drastically and she was left standing by clueless.

When Beyonce won the biggest award of the night for the Video of the Year and appeared on stage, she was heard saying “Thank you. I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV Award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like Taylor [Swift] to come out and have her moment,” instead of her much awaited acceptance speech. Her gesture has won her even more fans for sure.

Swift said, “”I’d like to thank all the fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this summer. Thank you so much!” With that, both the ladies in red, hugged each other and left the stage.
