Betty White Utters A ‘No’ To Nudity

May 4, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Fans enthusiastically waiting to witness Betty White will get to observe her hosting the special ‘Mother’s Day’ episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL). The episode will also consist of many of the program’s most well-liked females such as Tina Fey, Amy Poelher, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
White has confessed that she is animated as well as edgy about her forthcoming ‘SNL’ appearance as she has never been able to comprehend well from cue cards. She has called attention to the fact that she has always learnt by heart her lines or improvised.
The 88-year-old actress divulged that she is elated about encountering rapper Jay-Z, who also will be a component of the show. She declared that what will remain off limits for her is nudity and marijuana jokes. She conversed that the episode with her will be resplendent with comedy, dancing and music. There would be less of nudity.
In a vocation straddling seventy years, White has functioned in television programs such as The Mary and The Golden Girls. She has also made frequent emergences on the game shows such as Password and Match Game. She has enacted chronic characters on Mama’s Family, Boston Legal and The Bold and the Beautiful.
White has been nominated for 18 Emmy Awards and has acquired six. She is also the first female to ever obtain an Emmy for game show hosting.
