“Better With You” A Hit Or Miss?

Sep 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new television “Better With You” premiered last night on ABC. The plot revolves around three couples. They are Maddie and Ben, Mia and Casey and Vicky and Joel. The latter are the parents of Mia and Maddie who are sisters. The parents or the older couples have been married for 35 years while Maddie and Ben are together for nine years but they are reluctant to take the final step forward and tie the knot. Her sister Mia is in love with her boyfriend Casey whom she has known for only seven weeks but they are already planning to get married. It is revealed over the dinner table that Mia is pregnant.
The show comprises of well known names of the industry. The role of Mia is being played by Joanna Garcia while Maddie’s role is portrayed by Jennifer Finnigan. Debra Jo Rupp is seen in the role of the father. The fact that Mia is pregnant is revealed when Maddie keeps on with her rant about “Why she needs to get married”. To which Casey replies that she is pregnant. The parents are celebrate the fact that they would soon be grandparents.
The show ended with everyone whisking away after dinner as Vicky and Joel find Ben’s cheat card. A card which has topics to win them over. The newest television series in the block promises much but it is yet to be seen whether it can withstand its stature for long. The presence of Joanna Garcia makes the show more interesting. But still it is appears to be too early to judge the series.
