Jan 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Trying to find the best way to communicate with those in the office, Ted discovers that the use of memos is not always the best way to interact with the employees. Speaking to upper management was not helping and the last memo telling employees to be rude and offensive to each other was spreading about the office. Ted conducting his regular staff meeting witnessed the rude and crude abusive name calling from the employees at Veridian, explaining that language will not be tolerated in his meetings.

The discussion of memos has brought back guilt feelings for Veronica when receiving her promotion. She decided to have drinks and dinner with her fellow employee Walter to whom she beat out in the race for the promotion. She learned his wife left him, he lost his house and is now living in the basement of his parents home all because he lost the promotion. Learning this only made her guilty feelings worse.

The new memo demanding each employee use rude offensive language when speaking to each other was going over well with Ted when he seen some of his staff were being beat up by delivery people. Ted and upper management personnel Jill Crotum came up with a plan to change the memo and forbid the use of crude words towards each other.
