London, Feb 27 (ANI): Their husbands have been caught cheating on them with a bevy of ladies, but according to British men Cheryl Cole and Elin Nordegren are some of the sexiest women alive.

Cole, Tess Daly and Nordegren have gone up in the estimation of the UK’s men after the behaviour of Ashley Cole, Vernon Kay and Tiger Woods respectively became public.

All three have received a raft of new votes in FHM Magazine’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, reports The Mirror.

Girls Aloud’s Cheryl nearly doubled her votes this week following the announcement that the singer is to separate from husband Ashley.

TV host Tess Daly also received more votes, taking her into the top 50. She is reported to have forgiven hubby Vernon for sending sexy texts to glamour model Rhian Sugden.

She’s joined in an upsurge in popularity by blonde Swedish beauty Erin, who golf superstar better half Woods categorically denies she hit him with a golf club when she found out he’d been playing around earlier this year.

Erin is said to have jetted off to an unknown location after he begged for forgiveness live on American TV last week.

Richard Galpin of FHM Magazine, commented: “As the current holder of the ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’ title it’s no secret that Cheryl has always proved popular with our readers, even so, we weren’t expecting the sheer volume of votes she received this week. The fact that she’s recently available must make her even more irresistible to men!”

He added: “It’s refreshing to see that the enlightened FHM reader is voting for Tess Daly over glamour model Rhian Sudgen, maybe we’re all a bit jaded by the kiss and tell stories of late. Tess has got it all - the brains and the beauty.”
