Best cinematography Oscar goes to ‘Avatar’
March 8th, 2010 - 10:52 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Los Angeles, March 8 (IANS) Mauro Fiore won the best cinematography Oscar for the sci-fi film “Avatar” at the 82nd Academy Awards.
“I want to thank the Academy for this unbelievable honour. Thank visionary James Cameron…I also want to thank my crew,” said Fiore.
Fiore surpassed fellow nominees Bruno Delbonnel (”Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”), Barry Ackroyd (”The Hurt Locker”), Robert Richardson (”Inglourious Basterds”) and Christian Berger (”The White Ribbon”)
